Fall's 2010 Fashion - What are this fall/winter must buy ?

I've been doing all my back to school shopping recently too. Here are some things I've purchased (maybe they'll inspire you!)
First, I got these (because I don't have any sandals)

Then I got this:
It's a versatile cardigan thingy. I think it'll come in handy because the colors could go with anything.
I'm also contemplating getting over-the-knee socks. I think those would match with a lot of outfits as well. Some other things I think are cute are feather earrings and head wraps. There's a lot of cute ones at http://forever21.com

I can't wait for back to school shopping (clearly lol). My mantra for shopping for back to school this fall is "preppy. girly. glam." If a piece of clothing doesn't fall into at least one of those categories, I won't buy it. I'm trying to define my style! lol We'll see how well it works.

I'm absolutely loving the thigh high and knee high socks and boots that are in this season, specifically the thigh high boots. I like to wear dresses year round, so boots/tights/socks are a necessity for me! Also I think they're great for layering, espcecially if you have the Bohemian style going on =)
